Fillings (Restorations)
A filling prevents decay getting further into the tooth. The deeper the decay gets into each layer of the tooth, the more comprehensive and expensive the treatment becomes. Teeth have to endure a large amount of pressure. Worn fillings can absorb moisture, swell and begin to leak. They can no longer provide a seal to protect the tooth, so they need to be replaced.
