Wisdom Teeth Care

Wisdom teeth erupt at the back of the mouth, usually in late teenage years. Often, however, the patient's mouth is too small to accommodate the teeth. In such cases, the tooth may become impacted and unable to erupt. They can also cause pressure and damage or crowd the neighbouring teeth. When wisdom tooth problems occur and the decision to remove them is made, they may be suitable for removal by the dentist. However, the dentist may decide to refer more complex impactions to an oral surgeon for removal.
